Book tastes

What is a book you would recommend to others? A book that brings a smile to your face just thinking of someone else reading it?
I have recently been reminded of how much I enjoy YA books. My newly read YA books are The One and Only Ivan, Witchlings, and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
Any books about cats, elephants, and magical creatures.
I am looking to expand my reading to more diverse and inclusive books, preferably fiction.

Don't get this!

Christian books, political books, or overly erotic stories.

Other notes

My comfort reads are cozy cat mysteries and Beauty & the Beast retellings. My library is up to date with all the books I own.

Secret Santa
